WE BELIEVE

When posed the question of "What are the doctrines at Bexley UMC?" the answer is two words, "Love and Grace." These two words capture the message and life of Jesus.

Some people still need a little more explanation. . . .We believe in God who created the universe, and who reveals Himself to us as Father, the source of all things; as Son, God in the person of Jesus Christ; and as Holy Spirit, an inward, personal presence in the lives of His followers.

We believe God is the source of all blessings. All that we have and all that we are, we owe to God. We freely serve God with our time, talent, and material possessions to share in helping others. Bexley is affiliated—local/national/global--with the United Methodist Church.

We believe that God inspires love which reclaims, restores, regenerates. God calls us to reach broadly and boldly in Christ’s name. We tend to attract people who sometimes feel uncomfortable in traditional churches and are looking for something more.
