Family facts: I have a 27 year old daughter named Jenny and a 23 year old son named John. Most of my extended family are in

Education: I received B.A. in English and secondary education from
Southwest
Baptist
University
in Bolivar,
Missouri
.
I received my M.S. in counseling from the
University
of
Dayton
(on the Capitol Campus)
In between I took courses in theater and communication at two
Missouri
colleges and Biblical studies at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
How I became Christian: I grew up in a minister’s home so church was always a big part of my life. As a young girl, I responded to God’s love for me by giving my life to him. Through the years I have been overwhelmed by God’s faithfulness and loving care.
Favorites
Music: I must admit that I like the oldies as well as newer artist like Josh Groban.
Food: I like Mexican food, Italian food, a good steak and mother’s home cooking. As you can tell, I love food too much.
Place to vacation: Someday I would like to vacation in
Europe

Best place to eat: Longhorn, Mi
Mexico
and Cracker Barrel
How I spend my free time: I like to watch a good movie, curl up with a good book or do some writing.
Best book I've read lately: Fierce Conversation
Nobody knows that I . . . have written a book and hope to get it published.
Living person I'd most like to meet: This is a tough question because there are so many. I would love to meet and have a long conversation with someone like Billy Graham, Steven Spielburg, M. Scott Peck, Dr. Phil McGraw, Oprah Winfrey, Condoleeza Rice
Hero I’d most like to meet: Jesus, Abraham Lincoln
I'm most proud of my children and having helped start three churches.
One way folks can pray for me: Pray that I might have wisdom and direction in life’s decisions.
